British Prime Minister Boris Johnson happy to host President Uhuru

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson says he was happy to meet Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta who is in the United Kingdom on official duties.

A statement released by the Prime Minister after the meeting said Kenya and United Kingdom share a long history and rich.

He said the relationship is focused on the future to boost economic growth, tackle climate change and getting millions more children into school around the world.

“The UK and Kenya share a long and rich history, but this is a relationship focused on the future – boosting economic growth, tackling climate change and getting millions more children into school around the world,” said Johnson.

President Uhuru will be coming home with a bag of goodies including nearly 900,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines that Kenya requires as it seeks to scale up the immunization program.
