Prominent City business lady and philanthropist Anne Kagure has lost her mother, hundreds of friends send tributes

Prominent Nairobi business lady and philanthropist Agnes Kagure is mourning the loss of her mother with hundreds of friends among them senior politicians led by Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka politicians consoling with her.

Kagure who is also the leader of Kenya Patriots Party (KPP) and who is seeking to be governor of Nairobi is a popular figure in Nairobi who believes in the power of social innovation.

She said losing a mother is one of life’s most painful experiences that is not easy to overcome, while thanking her friends for standing with her.

“Losing a mother is one of life’s most painful experiences. Her love, prayers, wisdom and presence leave a space that words can never truly fill,” said an emotional Kagure.

Kagure went to further to state that a mother’s love is the first blessing people ever know and that one carries through, while thanking God for the many years her mother lived since 1940.

She described her mother as a strict disciplinarian who raised them with love and taught them the value of hardwork, honesty, respect and the fear of God.

Kagure said her mother was a woman of faith who live a life rooted in the Word of God and the teachings of the Church and that her faith was unshakeable and that her prayers were the foundation of their home.
