The World Rafting Cup 2026 is coming to Kenya next month and will be held at the scenic and picturesque Tana River in Sagana, billed the biggest rafting event ever held in Africa.
It will be a week of adrenaline, teamwork and world class whitewater action as elite rafting teams from across the globe battle it out on the mighty Tana River in Sagana at the border of Murang’a and Kirinyaga counties.
Going by the past events, this year’s championship is promising to be a thrilling one as the world’s best athletes navigate challenging rapids in pursuit of international glory.
The national trials will be held at the Rapids Camp, Sagana between 19th and 20th June 2026 and is open to all athletes from all the 47 counties in Kenya. The selected team will represent Kenya in the Rafting World Cup to be held at the same venue.

“Tickets for the events are now available with regular going for Sh500/- VIP – Sh1,000/-, Premium – Sh3,000/- and Exclusive – Sh5,000/-
