A body guard to Ida Odinga – wife of ODM leader Raila Odinga has been shot dead following a fight in a bar in Kisumu.
Kisumu County Commander Alphonse Kimathi said the security officer identified as Barack Onyango Oduor, was shot by his gun after the bar manager disarmed him.
Police are investigating the killing that occured in Riat area of Kisumu on Thursday night.
The officer is said to have been in the company of a woman and a man when he met his death.
