Kagure promises “mother of all campaigns” to win Nairobi gubernatorial seat as former governor Sonko joins her campaign team

Leading Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Agnes Kagure has promised to mount the mother of all campaigns to win the coveted seat as she drafted former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko to her team.

Kagure hopes to combine her networking skills with those of Sonko to easily win the seat on a Jubilee ticket saying she has the best plan for the Capital City.

Unveiling what she termed as the “Agnes Kagure Command Centre”, the business lady turned politician said they will be leaving nothing to chance while promising Nairobians better days ahead.

“We will be launching the mother of all campaigns in Nairobi. We are leaving nothing to chance in giving you the best that you rightfully deserve. Better days are ahead,” said Kagure.

Kagure thanked Sonko a longtime ally for his endorsement and agreeing to support her gubernatorial bid saying she will greatly benefit from his support base and great grassroots networks in Nairobi.

Political observers say the entry of Sonko into the campaigns and in support of Kagure will tilt the scales in her favour as they are going to mount a big campaign machine that will be hard to beat.

Kagure says she has the best plan for Nairobi and wants to move it from the City of lamentations to the City of Jubilation.
