United Kingdom’s Minister for the Armed Forces in Kenya for a two-day visit

United Kingdom’s Minister of State for the Armed Forces James Heappey has kicked off his two-day visit to Kenya to discuss to deliver security in the region.

He started off with a Parliamentary visit, where he held bilateral discussions with the leader of Majority in Parliament Hon Kimani Ichungwah, Leader of Minority, Hon. Opiyo Wandayi, the House Minority Whip Junet Mohamed & the Chair of the Defence and Foreign Relations Committee Hon Koech Nelson.

Heappey also held bilateral discussions with the chair of the Defence and Foreign Relations Committee Hon Nelson Koech.

The key discussions held, centered around both of our nation’s strong Defence Partnership and how the two countries will continue working together to build capacity, both operationally and institutionally, to deliver security in the region.
