Since rising to the throne following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II, the new monarch King Charles III has received over 50,000 letters and cards.
King Charles III has set up a dedicated Correspondence Team who are carefully sorting, reading and responding to the messages as they arrive.
It was an big outpouring of grief for the death of Queen Elizabeth II and a show of support for the new king who has already started discharging his duties.
The official morning period for the queen who was buried on Monday last week ended four days ago.
The Queen died on 8th September at her Balmoral home in Scotland aged 96 – and setting a record as the longest reigning monarch in the history of Britain.
