David Beckham among celebrities who queued for up to 13 hours to pay their last respects to Queen Elizabeth II lying in state at Westminster Abbey

Soccer legend Sir David Beckham was among celebrities who waited in line for more than 13 hours to get a chance to pay their last respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II whose coffin was lying at Westminister Abbey hall in London, United Kingdom.

Thousands of people thronged the Palace to pay their last respects to the longest the longest reigning monarch in the history of United Kingdom after she served for 70 years rising to the throne in 1952 after the death of her father King George VI.

The Queen who died aged 96 on Thursday last week will be buried on Monday in State Funeral that will be attended by world leaders and billed as the biggest television spectacle in recent times – to be views by millions across the world.

Beckham was captured on video shedding tears after paying his respects and later saying that his biggest moment was when Queen Elizabeth gave him the honours of OBE.
