Mystery surrounds the death of a couple that drowned after their car plunged into a dam in Juja moments after having romantic moments.
Eyewitnesses said the couple parked their car few metres from the dam and were enjoying their time on Tuesday evening when the car suddenly reversed into the dam where both drowned.
The woman’s body was retrieved from the dam the same evening, but the man’s naked body was retrieved this morning and taken to General Kago Hospital’s mortuary.
Police are investigating the bizarre incident with some witnesses that they heard a quarrel between the couple before the man reversed the car plunging into the dam.
The shocking incident occurred near Titanic Hotel, Toll, Juja, Kiambu County on Tuesday night.
