Kitui governor Charity Ngilu contracts Covid-19, admitted at Nairobi Hospital

Kitui County Governor Charity Ngilu has contracted Covid-19 and is admitted at the Nairobi Hospital undergoing treatment.

This was revealed by her colleague and Machakos County governor Alfred Mutua while sending her apologies for missing a musical extravaganza in Muranga graced by the ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Mutua while making a speech during the event in Gatanga hosted by Royal Media Services chairman and attended by close to ten governors said Mrs Ngilu contracted the deadly virus and could not make it.

In her message delivered by Mutua Mrs Ngilu urged Kenyans to take care telling the disease was still very much around spreading.
