Besieged DP Gachagua gets shock support from ODM leader Raila Odinga

In a dramatic twist ODM leader Raila Odinga has supported calls for a fair distribution of national resources as championed by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

DP Gachagua who has found himself at cross hairs with his boss President Ruto over his call for one-man-one-vote-one-shillings, found an unlikely ally in the name of Raila.

Gachagua who has been in a open political fight with President Ruto over unknown grievances has vowed to push for the one man one vote one shilling revenue sharing formula.

He said resources are about people and that money should be shared according to the number of people.

Immediately after his declaration, Gachagua has found himself under siege and accussed of causing divisions and tribalism in the country.

The issue has divided the Kenya Kwanza Government down the middle with shots being fired from each side with DP Gachagua a key target.

And now he has found a formidable ally in the person of Raila Odinga.

Speaking today at his office when he received the organisers of Limuru III in Nairobi, Raila said he fully supported the one man one vote revenue sharing formula.

He said the issue has been misunderstood and there is need for open dialogue saying it is meant to ensure every Kenyan gets a fair share of the national cake.

Raila described Gachagua as Saul of the Bible who turned to Paul, saying he has opened his eyes and can now see clearly.

He said he was ready to work with Gachagua and any other person who is interested in a fair and equitable sharing of the national resources.
