Prominent City business lady Agnes Kagure says she was impressed by the performance of youthful lawyers at the just concluded Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) case.
Kagure said the BBI appeal case gave the youthful lawyers an opportunity to carve out their place in the legal field and that the same should be replicated in all sectors.
The business lady said time was ripe for the youth to play a bigger role in all sectors of society and that she would continue championing their interests.
Kagure who is eyeing the Nairobi gubernatorial seat says her term would prioritise the youth agenda.
“As a believer of the youth’s potential, my gubernatorial term will prioritize the youth and I urge us to listen to them more,” said Kagure.
The BBI appeal has given a chance for our youth to carve out their place in the legal field, and the same should be replicated across all sectors.
Youthful lawyers arguing the BBI case before the 7-judge Court of Appeal bench captured the imagination of the Nation with their eloquent presentations.
Many pundits opined that the case had shone a spotlight on the next generation of lawyers in the country.
