Big hunt for a hit and run motorist that knocked down a Kirinyaga MCA’s daughter in Nairobi

You nearly killed my daughter. You will know there is law in this country. If you are wise just reveal yourself. Kenyans help me locate this inhuman individual. Pray for my daughter – MCA Lucy Njeri Mwaniki

Police are hunting for a motorist who knocked down and injured the daughter of a Kirinyaga County MCA Lucy Njeri Mwaniki at Roysambu’s Lumumba Drive off Thika Superhighway on Saturday evening.

The injured daughter of the MCA was rushed to hospital where she was treated and admitted for further checks with the motorist driving away from the scene.

The registration plate of the car identified by eyewitnesses as a Toyota Harrie or Lexus was recorded and circulated widely on social media.

MCA Njeri took to social media to appeal for help to arrest the driver as she sought justice for her daughter vowing to press on until he is arrested and charged.

“Vehicle KCM…. you will not hide forever. Umenigongea mtoto wangu karibu umuue. Hit and run. You will know there is law in this country. If you are wise just reveal yourself, before the law catches up with you. Kenyans help me locate this inhuman individual. Pray for my daughter,” said the distraught mother.
