The campaign that is appropriately named “Operation Rudi Nyumbani” is luring UDA supporters who feel shortchanged by the current regime to re-join Jubilee.

President Ruto rode to office through a wave created by his aggressive campaign that promised to reduce the cost of living and a more transparent government.

However the opposite has happened with all items, goods and services witnessing a steep rise in prices.

The highest hike has been on fuel prices that has rose by more than 30% in the last one year and sparkng a spiral effect on all other commodities.

Sections of UDA supporters in Mt Kenya have publicly expressed their shock at the turn of events, saying life had become harder.
