Ambulances, fire engines, police and rescue vehicles to use the Nairobi Expressway for free

Ambulances, fire engines, military vehicles, police and rescue vehicles will now use the Nairobi Expressway for free.

The company running the expressway – Moja Expressway – further announced that all Red Cross-branded ambulances and rescue vehicles will be granted free use of the road.

The company’s Public Relations Manager and spokesperson Ms Jeanne Ong’iyo said the special category of vehicles offering essential services will be granted free use of the Nairobi Expressway utilizing the Manual Toll Collection (MTC) lane.

She made the announcement at the Kenya Red Cross Society 8th Golf Charity event held at Royal Nairobi Golf Club.
