The sudden death of firebrand Kariobangi North MCA Joel Munuve continues to draw mixed reactions with calls for indepth investigations to reveal the actual cause of the tragedy.
Former Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru who is eyeing the City gubernatorial seat, said that Nairobi County and indeed Kenya has lost an industrious leader with great promise in the death of MCA Munuve.
While sending his condolences to the family, friends and Nairobi County Assembly for what he termed as a great loss, Waweru called upon the investigative agencies to swing into action and dig out the truth regarding this sudden death.
“It is a known fact that MCA Munuve, a selfless leader was deeply disturbed by the rot and corruption that is reported in and around the County Government of Nairobi and was collecting signatures to impeach the governor. This makes his sudden death highly suspicious,” Waweru said.
He said Nairobian’s want thorough investigations done to rule out any foul play regarding the untimely death, noting that corruption cartels become vicious when their evil schemes are exposed.
“To the family we pray that God gives you strength and grace to bear this big loss. RIP Munuve,” said Waweru.
