Azimio La Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua have heaped praises on their legal team describing their performance at the just concluded hearing at the Supreme Court as fantastic and brilliant work.
Raila who enjoyed hearty moments with the team of lawyers who visited him at his office at the conclusion of the hearing thanked them for a job well done as he hoped that his prayers for the nullification of the August 8, presidential election will be granted by the seven-judge apex court.
He is seeking to overturn the decision by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to declare Deputy President William Ruto of the Kenya Kwanza coalition as the president-elect.
Raila’s team of lawyers cited many cases where the election law and the constitution was flouted making the presidential election fatally flawed.
