President Ruto commissions New KCC factory in Kiganjo, Nyeri

President Ruto held the inaugural cabinet meeting at the Sagana State Lodge and later commissioned the New KCC milk factory at Kiganjo, Nyeri County.

He said the factory exemplifies government’s commitment to innovation as it was equipped with cutting-edge technology to meet the growing demand for dairy products.

The factory has a remarkable production capacity of 60,000 to 80,000 liters per day and ensures the highest quality and safety standards.

The Kiganjo factory will produce an extensive selection of dairy products, including everything from whole milk powder to camel milk powder.

“We’re proud to offer the exclusive brand Gold Crown Life, along with premium quality drinking water, to cater to a diverse range of preferences,” said the MD Nixon Sigey.

He said the New KCC takes pride in empowering local farmers to improve their qualities of life.

The Kiganjo factory directly benefits over 2000 farmers in the region, promoting sustainable agricultural practices and improving the socio-economic landscape of Kiganjo and its surroundings.
