Two touts filmed hanging precariously doing acrobatics on a moving matatu and the driver have been arrested

The police have arrested two conductors who were doing acrobatics at the door in a moving bus in a road in Nairobi.

The driver of the matatu was also arrested after the video was spread on the internet and reached the officers who arrested them for violating traffic laws.

The Service Unit for the police said that the circus that the conductors were doing put their lives at risk and the passenger’s .

“The National Police Service condemns the dangerous and reckless behavior that put the lives of the occupants of the vehicle and road users at risk. This behavior shows the irresponsibility of these people and we will not condone such behavior on the road,” the NPS said

They warned people who behave like that  violating traffic rules that anyone will be arrested when found.

The police advised other motoring associations to condemn the behavior shown in the video and managers were instructed not to allow unruly people into their vehicles.

“NPS and NTSA are still investigating the traffic on the road to ensure there are no violations of traffic laws and that they are respected by everyone,” NTSA officer said.
