Famous clubs The Loft and Quiver listed among 43 City bars facing closure over noise polution

The Nairobi County government has cracked the whip on 43 clubs around the City accused of playing loud music especially in the estates.

Among the clubs that could see their operating linceses revocked include The Loft located in Thome estate and Quiver on Thika road.

An official from the Nairobi City County Alcoholic Drinks Control and Licensing Board confirmed the move saying it was meant to restore sanity.

“We have commenced revocation of noisy entertainment joints in accordance with the Nairobi City County Alcoholic Drinks Control and Licensing ACT 2014 Section 21(1) and Section 35(3,” said the official.

Other clubs include Castle Inn Gardens, Vineyard, Clique Lounge, Tipsy Lounge, Pioneer Resort, Marula Manour Garden, La Baite and Oyester Bay.
