Jubilee Party fields candidates in Kiagu and Eldas wards, confident of winning the two MCA seats

The Jubilee Party has nominated two candidates to fight it out in the Kiagu ward in Meru County and Eldas ward in Wajir County for Member of County Assembly (MCA) seats after a survey indicated good prospects at winning.

The survey done by former Kangema MP Tirus Ngahu showed that the two candidates nominated by the party stood a big chance of winning and convinced the party to go ahead and field them.

And on Wednesday, the Jubilee Party SG Hon. Raphael Tuju presented a nomination certificate to Samson Kinyua Magambo who is vying in the upcoming Kiagu Ward by-election for the position of Member of County Assembly.

The Ngahu survey indicated that Kinyua was the most popular candidate and stood a very high chance of winning the seat.

On his part, Tuju reaffirmed that the Party will offer Kinyua the necessary support throughout the campaign and election period.

At the same time, Tuju also presented a nomination certificate to Abdi Abass Abdullahi who is vying in the upcoming Eldas Ward by-election for the position of Member of County Assembly in Wajir County.

He said the Jubilee Party will offer Abass the required support throughout the campaign and election period.

The ward by-elections comes shortly after the Muguga ward by-election in Kiambu county where the party won despite the area being declared an United Democratic Alliance (UDA) fronted by the Deputy President William Ruto.

UDA chickened out and will not be taking part in Eldas ward by-election even though the party that was holding the seat previously PDR was associated with them.
