Body of George Mwangi husband to a Kiambu politician found in forest wrapped in a bag

The body of George Mwangi husband to Gladys Chania who vied for the Kiambu woman rep seat on a Jubilee ticket has been found in a forest.

Police are investigating how Mwangi whose body was found wrapped in a black polythene bag oozing blood in Kieni forest met his death.

As the hunt for his killers got underway, police suspect Mwangi was killed elsewhere and his body dumped in the forest.

The 58-year-old engineer went missing from his home on Sunday.

Police say the man was positively identified as George Mwangi Kamau of Double M International, Kigali, Rwanda, and Preyan Enterprises.

Police say Chania identified Mwangi at the morgue days after she reported him as missing.
