We can all win together, Agnes Kagure advises Kenyans

Prominent Nairobi business lady Agnes Kagure has urged Kenyans to drop the archaic notion that for one to win another has to lose and called for team work.

In her weekend message, Kagure urged Kenyans to be in no competition with anyone because they can all be successful and achieve their dreams.

“Be in no competition with anyone. We wall want the same thing and we can all have it, we can all succeed,’’ she said.

Urging Kenyans to drop destructive habits that limit success, Kagure called for team work saying it makes the dreams come true.

She said no single person can be smarter or stronger than all the people combined but when people work together they achieve great results.

“None of us can ever be smarter or stronger than all of us. When we channel our efforts towards a common goal, the team work makes the dream work,’’ she said.

Kagure urged Kenyans to focus on their character saying and not reputation adding that when the character is impeccable, the reputation will streamline and swim with it.

She urged Kenyans to keep working hard adding that there is a reward in store for sacrifices and efforts expended.

“One day soon enough, you will be thankful and proud to have kept pushing on hard even when you had all the reasons to give up,’’ said Kagure.

Kagure who also runs the Agnes Kagure Foundation describes herself as a leader with a passion for women and youth and a believer in the power of social innovation.
