Kabando caught off guard as live TV show ends abruptly

Former Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando was caught off guard when a live TV show he was the guest ended abruptly shocking him.

The increasingly abrasive Kabando was the guest at the Citizen TV’s JK Live shortly after the 9:00Pm news, when the host Jeff Koinange ended the show abruptly much to Kabondo’s surprise.

“Are we done? We have barely started,” a surprised Kabando reacted after Koinange told him the show was over without notice.

The shock end to the show resulted in an online war where some netizens said the show was ended after a call “from above” after some unsubstantiated claims made by Kabando.

Kabando had claimed that President Uhuru had no intention of leaving power and was planning to use BBI to achieve the extension.

When taken to task by Koinange to provide evidence of his claims – he had none, only claiming he had done his analysis.

Kabando, who appeared angry, attacked the President repeatedly prompting Koinange to ask him whether his disdain of Uhuru was because he missed out on Cabinet appointment that went to Mutahi Kagwe, also a former Mukurweini MP.

He defended himself saying he was not bitter and that he had even spoken about the issue with Kagwe.

“When I learnt that Kagwe would be appointed, I met him and we spoke about it. I’m not bitter,” he said.

The show began in a dramatic fashion after the other guest and former Kiambu governor William Kabogo opted out at the last minute without any explanation.

Kabando however said he had spoken to Kabogo’s aide and that the former governor was stuck in traffic on Outer Ring road even though it was late in the night when the traffic is normally low in the city.

Throughout the entire show, Kabando went on a tirade attacking everyone who was mentioned from the President, Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi and nearly all politicians from Mt Kenya region.

While others criticised Kabando for his attacks on the president, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was full of praise.
