Ann Kanyori beats a big field to win the CEO’S Glenlivet Golf day tournament

Anne Kanyori beat a field of more than 200 golfers to emerge the overall winner of the Glenlivet CEO’S Golf Day at Thika Greens Golf Resort.

Playing off handicap 18, Kanyori returned a score of 41 points to take the overall winner’s trophy.

Best CEO trophy went to Patrick Karanja with a score of 36 points playing off handicap 15 in the tournamnet organised by Corporate Masters.

The trophy for Man Winner went to James Kibogo with 40 points with Nicholas Kibera as the man runners up with 40 points.

Lady winner was Valine Akoth with 40 points and playing off handicap 29 while the runners up trophy went to Esther Thal.

Member winner went to Rachel Ndei with points while Alice Gicharu with 36 points took the second position.

The tournament held on Saturday is an annual event hosted by Senator Charles Kibiru the CEO of Thika Greens Golf Resort to celebrate his birthday.

He said the tournmanet that started of as an afterthought several years back has grown to become a major tournament in Kenya’s golfing calendar.
