Sealed with a Kiss! Former Bitter Rivals turned best friends Ruto and Raila Cement their handshake

President Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga have signed a sweetheat deal that has turned former bitter rivals to best of friends.

Major changes are expected in government after a political cooperation deal was signed at the KICC grounds earlier today cementing the handshake of last year.

Sweeping changes have already occurred in Parliament where Raila’s liueftenats have already been rewarded with plump posts in committee leaderships.

It is now expected that more of Raila’s people will join the Executive either as Cabinet Secretaries, Permanent Secretaries or parastatal chiefs.

Already several of ODM members are already serving in broad based government that was formed after the unprecedented Gen Z riots of June 25 last year.

The word from the corridors of power indicate that even though it was not directly written, Raila is expected to get half of the govermnent in a 50-50 power sharing deal.

  2. Inclusivity in all public life
  3. Protecting and strengthening devolution
  4. Promoting and protecting the livelihoods of young people
  5. Leadership and Integrity
  6. Right to peaceful assembly and protest
  7. National debt
  8. Fight against corruption
  9. Stopping wastage of public resources and promote govt. efficiency
  10. Protecting the Sovereignty of the people, the rule of law and constitutionalism
