Gangsters stab and badly mutilate the face of a female KCA university student, Kenyans react with anger, despair

A female university student is fighting for her life in hospital after gangsters stabbed her severally on the face leaving it mutilated after she resisted a robbery outside KCA university on Thika road.

Reports say the student was almost killed were it not for her reaction to run away when she was accosted by the thugs armed with knives.

A quick intervention by nearby police officers also helped her and was later taken to hospital bleeding profusely from the cuts inflicted by the gangsters.

As the lawlessness facing Nairobi escalated irate Kenyans castigated the government for paying lip service to insecurity that is steadily running out of control.

The deadly attack on the student (pictured above) came only a day after Internal Security Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki warned thugs that the government was coming for them.

It also came a day after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) announced that it had arrested three notorious robbers who have been robbing and terrorizing people around KCA university.
