Shock as mutilated bodies in sacks are found near a police station in Mukuru, Nairobi

Shock gripped Mukuru residents in Nairobi after several mutilated bodies stuffed in sacks were found dumped near Kware police station sparking fears that a killer squad could be on the loose.

At least nine bodies were recovered and moved to City Mortuary for preservation and identification as search for more bodies went on for the rest of the afternoon.

Angry residents immediately turned their accusing finger on the police saying there have been cases of many people abducted and who have gone missing or turning up dead.

They said ever since Gen Z staged very successful protests and raided Parliament over the now discarded Finance Bill, cases of adduction of young people who took part in the peaceful demonstration have increased and some have turned up dead.

A case in point is Denzel Omondi a student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) who was abducted by unknown people only for his body to be found dumped in a quarry near the university. The students are currently demonstrating against the heinous act.

Some observers have also linked the bodies being found to the Githurai Massacre where tens of young people were said to have been killed by police officers as they looked for the stolen Parliamentary Mace following the breaching of Parliament.

The government denied that the massacre ever occurred with none other than President Ruto saying it was fake news. But as dead bodies continue to emerge, many are now saying the massacre was real and want action taken starting with thorough investigations.

As bodies were being recovered in Mukuru, another body of a female Gen Z was found dumped in Roysambu near the railroad, further angering the young people.

Youthful Kenyans popularly known as Gen Z has mounted pressure on President Ruto forcing to abandon the punitive Finance Bill and lately dissolving his entire Cabinet. The Gen Zs are not yet done with the President and want the entire government to resign including himself.
