Heavy rains to continue for the next one week, says weatherman

The current rainfall in various parts of Kenya will continue for the next one week, according to a forecast by the metreorological department.

The forecast says rainfall is anticipated from November 29 to December 5, over the Highlands East of the Rift Valley and the South-eastern Lowlands.

Rains are also expected in the Coast region as well as over a small portion of the Highlands West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Central and South Rift Valley, and North-eastern Kenya.

A few isolated storms are expected to pass through the southern lowlands.
